I have not been this excited about a book since primary school (I am 43 years old this year). I fell instantly in love with it just by reading the content page. I have already received a huge amount of inspiration, which quickly reminded me why I chose to be in this industry. It is a beautifully written and illustrated.

A coffee-table book that has so much breadth it’s hard to categorise. One moment you're reading about cargo bikes, frame materials or velomobiles, then it's Frank Patterson, Simone de Beauvoir, bicycle related stamps or circus cycling… yet it hangs together remarkably well.

Dan Joyce, Cycle Magazine

A richly illustrated work that is an appreciation and celebration of bicycles and cycling and covers virtually every aspect including safety and maintenance, history, riding with children, art, technology, unusual applications, cycling cultures around the world and it ends with a powerful manifesto for a cycling friendly future. My favourite chapter is the Art of Cycling… The books is illustrated with over 1000 high quality colour images and runs to 384 pages on good paper.

Ray Miller, News and Views, Veteran-Cycle Club

It looks marvellous, with many outstanding images and excellent text passages, and I can see why a mainstream publisher wouldn’t touch it! Way too much like hard work…

John Stuart Clark, cycle writer and illustrator

It is handsomely produced, designed and is possibly the only brick that takes flight as soon as it is unwrapped. Opening the front cover is like opening the first of countless doors or, more aptly, portals. I felt overwhelmed by the phantasmagoria of content and psychedelia of colour plus images. I will need to read it in bite-size episodes, preferably outdoors under a Redgum tree on a temperate day. In epicurean terms Cycle Magic is a masala and a very rich one at that. The frontiscover illustration is a tranquil balm, establishing a direct ribbon to any two-wheeling daydreamer.
